Help for pet owners wanting to spay and neuter

The Rock County Humane Society hopes a new service that spays and neuters pets will help pet owners who are struggling financially.
Director Angela Rhodes says the cats and dogs are transported to a clinic in Madison and returned the next day to Janesville. She says the vast majority of animals who come into the humane society are not altered. The transport vans to Madison have been full about every week without advertising from the humane society.
They also offer vaccinations and micro-chipping.
Despite the economy, the number of animals at the humane society remains steady.

BEWARE
I used this Spay Me Clinic
for my 2 5 mo. old Cairn Terriers.
Yes, the cost is great and included:
rabies shot
distemper boost
micro chip
nails cut
spaying
BUT!!!!!
THEY BUTCHERED MY PUPS DURING THE SPAYING!!
I have no idea who did the surgery ..
it looks like an amateur did it!
The "vet" who called me is NOT
the "vet who signed the form.
Their stitches are on the outside
when I was told they would be inside
and dissolve.
They also have a Huge Bulge!!
One of them was so badly put together it's looks as crooked as the NILE!!
What I saved using the service is costing me more in the long run ...
because I now have to take them to a Real Veterinarian.. which will more than double the original bill through
the Spay Me Clinic!

Glad to see this is finally available in Rock Co. We went to the Danee Co humane society this past spring and were able to get a spay and distemper shot plus micro chip for $35. A vet around here quoted me $200.
