Education: Graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1982; earned a degree in police science from Blackhawk Technical School in 1996 and a certification in emergency management from the same in 2006.
Community service: Treasurer of Beloit Isaac Walton Conservation Club
Elected positions: Appointed in spring 2007 to the Town of Beloit Board and re-elected in April 2008.
Major campaign issue: We need to continue working on incorporation, bring more industry and business into the township and continue promoting the town’s growth into the future.
Challenger Jim Stephens did not return the Gazette’s request for campaign information.
