Thank you again Janesville PD. Keep up the good work! Thank you too, Janesville Gazette for printing more on drug arrests. Let the deviants of society know they're being watched.

I've known Toni for a long time. This was way overdue.

The problem is you, you have a 46 yr old female providing and/or getting high with high school aged people. If she was providing and/or drinking intoxicants with them, the light bulbs would be lighting up.

Wait -- really? So I have to carry seven bottles of pills around with me if I need one while I'm out? That's nuts.

If that is the law, all those old folks using those daily pill sorters better watch out. They could be the next ones to be arrested.

I do honestly think that marijuana will be legal fairly soon all across the nation but, the kicker here is the perscription pills. It did not say anywhere in the article that they were not her perscription though. I do NOT have a problem with marijuana...It is the drugs that are killing kids around here that I have issues with. Sadest part is, most of those drugs are only as far away as the medicine cabinet. Yet another reminder to keep all perscriptions under lock and key.

true, but corn does not give you the same effects as marijuana does, nor is there quite the same cash flow income from corn.

brykjo,

Sweet corn also is fairly easy to cultivate. Perhaps the government should look at making it illegal, because everyone can grow their own, making futile any attempts at regulation?

I believe the reason it has not become legal is because it is fairly easy to grow, so most people will be growing their own and therefore the government will not be able to tax it or control it.

When did not having perscription drugs in a perscription bottle become a crime? I can see it being a crime if they didn't actually have perscriptions for the drugs found. But why would it be a crime if they had legal perscriptions for the drugs and simply kept them in a different container?

Thekid- I do not smoke marijuana.
I think it is illegal because of old laws holding fast. Just because it is law does not mean it is logical. It is already clear that is has medical benefits, proven time and time again. It IS legal in certain states. There is a lawsuit against Walmart at the present because an employee tested positive yet he had a prescription.
I give it another 10-15 years before it is legal in most states. It is gaining social acceptance and it is just a matter of time before it gains more ground.
Don;t forget the powerful lobbying power that Big Pharma has... they have big motivation to keeping it illegal.

More drugs off the streets, yawn. What bears investigation is why a 46 year-old man is hanging out with teenagers.
