-- CARL R. CAZARO, 36, and TAMMY L. JOHNSON, 28, both of 825 Arlington Court, Janesville, at 12:46 a.m. Tuesday at home on a charge of child neglect. Police found the home to be “filthy” with animal feces and urine in the house and on the mattresses where the household’s two children sleep, according to police reports.
-- STACEY M . TROPP, 37, of 1403 Carnegie Court, Beloit, at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Janesville Police Department on a charge of identity theft.
-- A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY, at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point, Janesville, was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of possession a weapon on school grounds and underage drinking. The charges refer to incident in which the 16-year-old allegedly brought a knife to school.

-- BURGLARY Monday to a home in the 300 block of S. Main Street, Janesville. An air compressor and tools were reported stolen.
Fire
-- BRUSH FIRE at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday at 2028 E. Emerald Grove Road in Bradford Township. The Clinton Fire Department responded and put out the half-acre fire in less than an hour. The cause of the fire appeared to be a smoldering burn pit.
