JERRY J. KAPLAN, 21, of 14 E. Cottonwood Lane, Milton, at 2:10 p.m. Saturday at 1666 S. Chatham St., Janesville, on a charge of criminal damage to property. He drove over the front lawn of Edison Middle School, Janesville, according to police reports. He also was arrested on a warrant for a prior disorderly conduct arrest.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY reported at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 11300 block of Larson Road, Clinton. A woman told deputies a man tried to open her basement window. She reportedly yelled at the man, and he ran away.
Intoxicated driving arrests
MICA P. RITTER, 38, of 238 Milton Ave., Janesville, at 1:08 a.m. Friday at Court and Chatham streets. It was reportedly his fourth offense. He also was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
