Four burglary suspects arrested Tuesday

— A four-month investigation of burglaries to storage units yielded the arrests Thursday of four Janesville teens.

Rock County sheriff’s deputies and members of the office’s special investigations unit arrested:

-- Zachary L. Trezek, 18, of 426 Center Ave.

-- Gregory C. Lehr, 18, of 109 N. Atwood Ave.

-- Adam J. Hollis, 17, of 426 Center Ave.

-- Dylan R. Lambert, 18, of 201 N. Grant Ave.

All face charges of burglary and theft.

Search warrants were issued Tuesday for residences at 424 and 426 Center Ave., where detective were looking for stolen property, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

Recovered were items valued at $40,000 including a snowmobile, motorcycle, high-performance racing parts, flat-screen TV, luggage, tools, collectible coins, go-kart, several sets of vehicle wheels, golf clubs and an assortment of other items, according to the release.

Detectives since November 2009 had been investigating burglaries to numerous storage facilities in townships near Janesville. Property also was recovered from burglaries in Janesville and Beloit Township, according to the release.

The investigation continues, and more charges are expected.

The four suspects were released with an April 12 court date.
