Albany edges past Juda
Albany High’s girls basketball team saved its best for last Thursday night.
The Comets outscored host Juda 20-12 in the fourth quarter in rallying for a 40-35 win in a Division 4 regional semifinal game. Albany (12-11) will play top-seeded Burlington Catholic Central (14-10) in a regional final game Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clinton.
Hayli Peach and Sydney Bump scored 12 points each for the Comets, while Larissa Klemm had 11 for Juda (12-12).
