Brooke Hemstead scored 14 points to lead DeForest High School’s girls basketball team past visiting Madison Memoria, 61-49, in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal Tuesday.

The Norskies (14-9) play at Madison East (14-9) in a regional final Saturday.

-- East 57, Sun Prairie 54—Madison East rode a 21-11 advantage in the fourth quarter to a Division 1 regional semifinal win over visiting Sun Prairie.

Makailah Dyer scored 22 points, and Nyakour Deang added 15 for the No. 4-seeded Purgolders (14-9), who host DeForest in the regional final Saturday.
