Janesville man charged with sexual assault

JANESVILLE — A Janesville man accused of sexually assaulting a woman and drug possession will appear in Rock County Court on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.

Michael Anthony Pollock Jr., 27, of 358 Milton Ave., is charged with second-degree sexual assault, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Police found marijuana, cash and a scale in Pollock’s home while searching it as part of the sexual assault investigation, according to the criminal complaint.

Pollock was ordered held in Rock County Jail on $1,500 cash bond after his initial court appearance.
