Police seek information about armed robbery

— Police are searching for a man for questioning about a drug-related armed robbery.

Dustan L. Ames, 25, no fixed address, is wanted in connection with an armed robbery at 1:11 a.m. Saturday, according to a Janesville Police Department news release.

Police say a man showed a handgun and robbed three people of hundreds of dollars when they were attempting to buy a large amount of marijuana.

Anyone with information about how to find Ames should call police at (608) 755-3100 or Janesville Area CrimeStoppers at (608) 755-3636. People also can text information to 274637.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward

Suggest removal

A location of the robbery would be nice. If anybody saw something suspicious it would help to know where this occured so they could put the pieces together.
