Beloit man faces federal gun charges
A Beloit man faces ten years in federal prison if he's convicted on gun charges.
Beloit police arrested 24-year-old Jacob Risseeuw after executing a search warrant in March. Officers found drugs--including two pounds of marijuana--during the search. The indictment alleges he also possessed a 9mm pistol and ammunition at the time. He's beng charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
He also faces number drug charges related to the March arrest.
The U.S. Attorney's Office announced the indictment Wednesday.
