Displaced auto workers may still qualify for training grant

AFLCIO Labor Education and Training Coordinator at the Rock County Job Center Julie Funk says National Emergency Grant funding for displaced auto workers hasn't run out yet.

She says many auto workers may have waited to apply for benefits, hoping the General Motors Plant might open again. She says workers could still qualify for up to two years of retraining at schools like Blackhawk Technical College.

Funk wants to get the word out before it's too late.
