— The bats were silent Sunday night for the Beloit Snappers.

Three Bowling Green pitchers limited the Snappers to only two hits in a 3-1 Midwest League win for the Hot Rods.

Angel Morales had both hits for Beloit, including a triple that led to the only run in the bottom of the fourth.

The Snappers struck out 15 times and got only two runners as far as second base.

Beloit is off today before beginning a three-game series at Cedar Rapids.
