— Daniel Rams hit a two-run home run to help the Beloit Snappers defeat the Dayton Dragons, 4-3, in Midwest League baseball on Thursday.

Dayton struck first with a run in the sixth before Beloit scored three in the bottom of the inning, highlighted by Rams’ home run that also scored Angel Morales. Morales had singled to drive in Aaron Hicks with Beloit’s first run.

The Snappers pushed across what turned out to be the winning run in seventh. Daniel Santana scored when Hicks reached on an error by Dayton left fielder Shane Carlson.

Brad Stillings (5-3) went six innings to pick up the victory.

Beloit hosts Bowling Green tonight at 7 in the opener of a three-game series.
