Beloit downs Burlington

BURLINGTON — The Beloit Snappers defeated the host Burlington Bees, 4-2, in Midwest League baseball Wednesday.

Wang We Lin and Aaron Hicks produced RBI singles in the seventh inning for the Snappers’ winning margin.

Beloit starter Brad Stillings allowed one through three innings and Matthew Tone (3-4) allowed one run on four hits through two innings to earn the victory. Eliecer Cardenas pitched a flawless ninth to earn his fourth save.
