JANESVILLE Police say they arrested a Janesville burglar at the scene of the break-in Sunday night after he returned to get his bicycle, cigarettes and soda.
Seth Dean, 20, of 1646 S. Walnut St., Janesville, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on charges of underage drinking, burglary, criminal damage to property and resisting an officer, Lt. Terrence Sheridan said.
Dean is suspected of using a board to break a door window and enter the building at 1019 Kellogg Ave., he said.
Police received a description of a suspicious person in the area and set up a perimeter around the building after searching it. They caught Dean when he returned to get his bicycle, cigarettes and soda, Sheridan said.
“He was cut up, scraped up, and there was blood at the scene. He wasn’t cooperating when he was taken into custody just before 11 p.m.,” he said.
Dean remains in custody at the Rock County Jail, where he made his initial court appearance at 3 p.m. Monday.

LOL, not bad, Kleej. Though I guess you believe that cyberspace doesn't grow on trees.
Still, what are the odds that Seth is a christian?

If he has no past record, an offense of this nature won't get him any hard time. The system will wait until he commits a few more felonies before he gets a trip up the river.

Personnaly, I don't think this kid's religious beliefs are his biggest problem right now. Seems to me like someone has a rather large issue with breaking the law and a pure lack of common sense. Bad enough you did it, but to return to the scene of the crime while the cops are there....priceless!

yada, which comment? That equating lawlessness with free-thinking is bizarre or that Seth is a christian? Or, that a previous poster should put a cold rag on his head.
If you had to bet, would you bet that Seth is a christian or not?

gazettefan - Obviously what he did was wrong, but your comment was crude, rude, and low. Hope you feel better about yourself now.

billnewbie, I dig what you're saying but couldn't you just say "another free thinker who thinks that he's above it all and that laws don't apply to him?"

He's just another libertarian (philosophical libertarian, not political libertarian)who denies the legitimacy of the sovereignty of government and the property rights and liberty of those whose property he wanted to liberate for his own use. He needs some intense education on those subjects at the school of hard knocks (prison). Let's hope our D.A. isn't too accommodating when he plea bargains with this lad's attorney.
