— A teen boy robbed a woman at knifepoint at a Milton car wash Monday afternoon, Milton police reported.

The boy approached a woman who was washing her car inside a bay at The Car Wash, 357 S. John Paul Road at about 1:45 p.m., Lt. Brad Smith said. The boy reportedly brandished a knife, demanding money.

The woman handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the boy fled on a bicycle toward railroad tracks near John Paul Road, Smith said.

The boy is described as white, 13 to 16 years old and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He was wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators said the woman was uninjured. It’s not clear if others witnessed the robbery.

The incident is the second robbery this month in Milton.

On July 3, a female Burger King employee was robbed by a man wearing a ski mask while she was making a night deposit at the Bank of Milton, 323 Parkview Drive. The man pushed the woman to the ground and took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Smith said it’s uncommon for a town the size of Milton to have two forcible robberies in less than a month.

“What makes it even more significant is that the person (in Monday’s robbery) is considered to be a child. This is extremely unusual for our community,” he said.

Anyone with information about the Monday robbery can call the Milton Police Department at (608) 868-6910 or the Rock County Communications Center at (608) 757-2244.

And this is why it is parents need to say "NO" to their children once in awhile. Today's youth are out of control! Worry about their feelings my butt...they should worry about consequences to their actions and parents need to start giving those at home!!!!!!!!!!!
