— A fast food employee was robbed early Saturday morning in Milton while making a bank deposit, the Milton Police Department reported.

Milton police Lt. John Conger said a female employee of Milton Burger King was depositing cash from the restaurant at about 1 a.m. today at the night deposit box at the Bank of Milton, 323 Parkview Dr., when a man wearing a ski mask came up from behind and pushed her to the ground.

The man then took the bank bag the employee was carrying, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled on foot, heading west, Conger said.

The suspect apparently was unarmed, and the woman was not injured in the incident, police said.

The man, who was described as approximately six feet tall and thin, was wearing a ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, police said.

Milton Police Department and Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the robbery, with Janesville Police Department’s K-9 assisting. No arrests have been made.

Milton Police Department continues to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Milton Police Department at 757-2244.
