Arrests


--REBECCA L. VANDENLANGENBERG, 35, of 2505 Black Bridge Road, Janesville, at 4:40 p.m. Thursday onEast Racine Street, Janesville, on a charge of child neglect.


Reported


--THEFT reported at 2 p.m. Friday at a residence in the 1600 block of Marion Avenue, Janesville. Reported stolen was $2,050 in cash, taken from a billfold, and a ring valued at $160.


--ROBBERY reported at 5:51 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Rockport Road, Janesville. Two kids reportedly threatened to beat up another kid if he didnít give them his bike. Reported stolen was a bike valued at $60.


--FORGERY reported at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday in the 2600 block of West Court Street, Janesville. A Rock County Jail inmate reported that his ex-girlfriend took $5,000 from his bank account.


--ATTEMPTED BURGLARIES reported at 7 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Cherokee Road and 300 block of South Lexington Drive, Janesville, where an unknown subject tried cutting through screens, kicking in back doors, and making entry into homes while people were sleeping.


--BURGLARY reported at 8:08 a.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Apache Court Drive, Janesville. A purse was taken from the home while residents were sleeping. The contents of what was stolen areunknown.


Accidents


--COUNTY D SOUTH OF HANOVER ROAD, Bradford Township, at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, a car driven by Kelsey D. Williamson, 37, of 2514 N. Lexington Drive, Janesville, struck the guardrail. Williamson was ticketed for open intoxicants in motor vehicle. Williamson also was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.


Fire calls


--VEHICLE FIRES at 4:03 a.m. Friday at 12938 W. Bullard Road, Union Township. Evansville firefighters found a car fully engulfed in flames upon arrival in the driveway of this rural single-family home. The fire spread from the car, which was a total loss, to the pickup truck parked next to it. The truck suffered heavy interior damage. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

--NICHOLAS P. BALDWIN, 23, St. Charles, Ill., at 1:36 a.m. Sunday on Third Avenue at Lake Street, Fontana.
