Police looking for dog that bit woman

— Anyone with information about a mixed-breed dog that bit a woman at 3:25 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of North Academy and Ravine Streets, is encouraged to call police at (608) 757-2244.

The 31-year-old woman suffered minor injuries to her finger, according to a police department press release.


The dog, described as medium-size with caramel or light brown long fur and no collar, approached the victim from the 300 block of North Academy Street and fled toward the 300 block of North High Street after the bite.
