— Anyone with information about a vehicle that hit a car on Interstate 94 east of Switzke Road on Thursday night is encouraged to call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 674-7310.

The crash happened at 10:52 p.m. when a westbound 2006 Toyota Corolla was hit by a passing vehicle that did not stop. The Toyota spun out of control and rolled multiple times before landing in the eastbound shoulder of the interstate, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. The driver of the Toyota, a woman from Madison, suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital, Madison.

The vehicle sought in the crash is a late-model, dark gray SUV, possibly a Toyota 4Runner or Ford Explorer, that should have fresh damage on the rear of the driver’s side.
