Domestic Violence Intervention Team formed

The Janesville Police Department is joining with the YWCA Rock County and Rock County District Attorney's office to form a Domestic Violence Intervention Team.
Police Chief David Moore says the DVI Team will conduct follow-up visits to victims of domestic violence incidents. A Janesville Officer will be accompanied by a YWCA Advvocate.
The goals are to protect domestic violence victims, reduce incidents, offer services, and hold abusers accountable.

this is great,but i have to say if the laws were more strict on these creaps that do the violence i think there wouldn't be as much. I saw a woman who was beaten by the dude 2 times and she wouldn't testify so he walks. The law need to put these creaps away especially when they have other witnesses and evidence to prove it.
