The local economic climate may be challenging, but Janesville area business leaders gather to celebrate the community's success.

Thursday was a cold day for local businesses to share warm words during Forward Janesville's Award Luncheon. Recipients included Small Business Person of the Year Brian Cherry of Time Out Pub and Eatery, Small Business of the Year Helgesen Development Corporation, Big Business of the Year Bliss Communications, and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to Dr. Robert Yahr.
