Jets split with Albert Lea

Anthony Iaquinto scored two goals and added an assist to help the Albert Lea Thunders split a weekend NAHL series with the Janesville Jets at Albert Lea, Minn.

Iaquinto scored goals in the first and second periods to stake the Thunder to a 2-0 lead, and Albert Lea went on to record a 5-1 win over Janesville’s first-year expansion team.

Rui Encarnacao scored Janesville’s only goal in the third period, while Jet goalie Matt Wichorek made 45 saves in suffering the loss.
