Hobbs lifts Williams Bay Bulldogs

Becca Hobbs was a scoring machine Tuesday night for Williams Bay’s girls basketball team.


Hobbs scored 30 points, and the Bulldogs jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead en route to the 49-34 Capitol Conference win over Madison Abundant Life.

Rachel Pope led three Dodgeville double-figure scorers with 12 points as the Dodgers (2-8) defeated host Evansville, 43-30.


The Dodgers took command by outscoring the Blue Devils, 14-2, in the first quarter.


Kayla Klitzman led Evansville (0-8) with 13 points.

Ashley Hermanson scored 12 points to help Monroe High School’s girls basketball team down host Monona Grove, 37-26, in a Badger South game Tuesday night.


The Cheesemakers, No. 1 in the Division 2 state ratings, are 11-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
