Three-pointers help lift Milton over Delavan-Darien, other scores

Milton High School sank four three-point goals in the third quarter en route to a 60-50 victory over visiting Delavan-Darien in nonconference girls basketball Monday.


The Red Hawks (8-1) received two three-point baskets each from Brooke Negus and Liz Eide to gain a 21-13 advantage and a 45-33 lead heading into the fourth quarter.


Eide finished with 16 points and teammate Ashley Roherty added 13. Alana Cesarz scored a game-high 28 points for the Comets (8-3).

Caitlin Dolan and Brooke Lambrechts added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for East Troy (5-5, 4-3). Turner (3-8, 1-6) did not have a player score in double figures.

Westosha’s Faith Lois scored a game-high 27 points. Kelsey Harms scored 15 points for Whitewater (3-7), and teammate Molly Griep added 10 points.

Haley Schwartz and Jordyn Courier led Big Foot (4-4), scoring 10 and nine points, respectively, in the first half. Each scored 16 points apiece. Teammate Courtney Spangler chipped in 13 points.


Gina Ambrose scored 13 points to lead Badger (3-9).
