Three-point land was good to the Lake Geneva Badger High boys basketball team Friday night, but not good enough for a Southern Lakes Conference victory.


Despite hitting 11 three-pointers, the Badgers lost to visiting Union Grove, 69-61, in the second game of co-ed doubleheader.


Four players scored in double figures for the Broncos. Nathan Radke led the winners with 20 points. Caleb Beachem scored 15 points, Joe Bianchi had 13 and Brennan Johnson scored 10 as the Broncos went to 3-2in the conference and 5-6 overall.


Badger’s Preston Dailey led all scorers with 23 points, including five three-point goals. Justin Bowers scored 18 points, while Laramie Wieseman added 10 for the Badgers (2-7, 1-4).
