Janesville wrestlers dominate Madison schools
Janesville Craig’s wrestling team bounced back from Wednesday’s loss to Janesville Parker in a big way Friday night.
Seniors Ryan Coleman, Drilon Grajcevci and Mike Spaulding led the Cougars to a 73-6 Big Eight Conference win over Madison East here Friday night.
Craig High (4-2) won seven matches by forfeit and picked up pins in three others.
“Our seniors led us again tonight,” Craig coach Jeff Kaster said. “Ryan has really come on, and Drilon and Mike continue to dominate on the mat.
“It’s just too bad more kids didn’t get a chance to wrestle for us tonight. We’ve got a big tournament tomorrow.”
Craig will compete in the South Milwaukee Dual Meet Tournament today. The Cougars first match is against Luxemburg-Casco, the top-ranked team in Division 2.
