-- GREGORY C. WEAVER, 23, Chicago, at 3:15 p.m. Monday at the Rock County Jail on a bench warrant charging him with failure to appear on previous charges of second-degree reckless endangering safety and possession of a firearm by a felon.

-- JOHN A. SCHEEHLE, 31, of 5240 N. River Road, Janesville, at 4:20 p.m. Sunday at home on a charge of domestic strangulation.


-- BURGLARY reported in an apartment in the 100 block of South Jackson Street, Janesville, reported Sunday.

-- BURGLARY reported to the Hideaway Storage, 1200 N. Touson Drive, Harmony Township, reported Monday, Jan. 4.


-- WEST PLYMOUTH CHURCH ROAD WEST OF BAKKE ROAD, Rock Township, at 12:48 a.m. Monday. A vehicle driven by David C. Bremel, 36, of 7640 S. Luther Valley Road, Orfordville, was westbound when he lost control on a patch of snow-covered road, slid across the road, entered the ditch, and the vehicle rolled. Bremel was ejected and treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was cited for mandatory seatbelt violation, driving too fast for conditions and operating without a valid driverís license.

-- HIGHWAY 59 AND GOEDE ROAD, Fulton Township, at 1:14 p.m. Saturday. A vehicle driven by William S. Toth, 19, Elmhurst, Ill., was southbound on Goede Road when police say he entered the intersection on a red light and struck a vehicle driven by Lori J. Meske, 23, Sussex. Toth was cited for violation of traffic control signal by vehicle. A passenger in Meskeís vehicle, James S. Flannigan, 29, Naperville, Ill., was treated at an area hospital.


-- VEHICLE FIRE at 8 p.m. Monday at Highway 14 and County MM, Janesville. Upon arrival the fire had been extinguished with snow. The pickup truck, valued at $500, was a total loss.

-- VEHICLE FIRE at 8:05 p.m. Monday on Highway 14 south of Ruger Avenue, Janesville. A fire started in the engine compartment of a pickup truck driven by Mike Winn, 33, of 1032 Putnam Ave., Janesville. Janesville police and fire officials responded, but Winn put out the fire with snow before they arrived. Damage was minor.
