UW-Rock County wins 3rd straight

— UW-Rock County ran its winning streak to three games, cruising past UW-Manitowoc, 67-42, in Wisconsin Collegiate Conference men’s basketball here Monday.

Fred Stewart scored 14 of his game-high 19 points in the first half as the Rattlers took a 36-15 lead. Stewart added 15 rebounds to record his third straight double-double.


Gabe Mitchell added 14 points for UW-Rock. UW-Manitowoc did not have a player in double figures.


UW-Rock (9-6) will host UW Fox Valley at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The UW-Rock women will host Fox Valley at 6 p.m.
