— In its first meet since before the Christmas break, Janesville Craig High School’s gymnastics team rolled past Sun Prairie.

The Cougars, behind Becky Schneider’s dominating performance, won 128.575-110.4.

Schneider won the uneven bars, floor exercise, balance beam and all-around.

“We were a little rusty coming off the break, but overall, I thought we did a pretty good job,” Craig coach Jean Welch said. “I was really pleased with our performances on beam and floor.

“And to be honest, I thought a couple of our routines should’ve scored higher than they did.”

Craig (1-1 in the Big Eight) will compete at the Westosha Invitational on Saturday.
