Intoxicated driving arrests

--EDWARD A. STRZYZKOWSKI JR., 24, of 1734 S. Crosby Ave., Janesville, at 6:13 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Joliet Street, Janesville.


--CHRISTOPHER N. HENDERSON, 41, of 1126 S. Cherry St., Janesville, at 2:42 a.m. Saturday at Cherry Street and Delavan Drive, Janesville.


--SOTHON KHEM, 23, of 6152 N. Pearl St., Janesville, at 10:25 p.m. Friday at Grant Avenue and Rockport Road, Janesville.


Reported

--SUBSTANTIAL BATTERY reported at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Mz Grizz bar, 721 Center Ave., Janesville. A 42-year-old Janesville man told police he tried to break up a fight between two people and ended up getting kicked several times, including a kick to his brow that required seven stitches.


Accidents

--HIGHWAY 14 AT LEXINGTON DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 2:14 p.m. Saturday. A car driven by Nancy L. Brooks, 54, of 543 S. Sixth St., Evansville, collided in the intersection with an SUV driven by Patsy L. Phillips, 59, of 1806 Doubletree Drive, Janesville. Brooks’ car then hit a traffic signal pole and a car driven by Adam E. Hefty, 34, of 263 Mohawk Road, Janesville, which was stopped at the red light on Lexington. Phillips and Brooks both were treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Phillips was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning.


Fires

--2210 HAWTHORNE AVE., JANESVILLE, at 6:40 p.m. Saturday. Very minor damage as a result of a cooking incident. The fire was out before firefighters arrived.
