Alana Cesarz scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Delavan-Darien High to a 54-49 victory over Waterford (18-3, 10-3) and a tie for second place in the Southern Lakes girls basketball race Friday night.


Courtney Flood scored eight of her 14 points in the fourth quarter, and Michelle Wenzel scored nine of her 10 points in the first half for the Comets (17-4, 10-3).
