Evansville rallies past Juda, other scores

Evansville High’s girls basketball team rallied for a victory Monday night.


The Blue Devils trailed 29-23 after three quarters, then rode a 22-13 advantage in the final period to 45-42 nonconference win over visiting Juda. Evansville (3-15) made 11 of 14 free throws down the stretch to secure the win.


Sydney Westrick scored 17 points and Kayla Klitzman added 10 for Evansville.


Helen Kiser scored 14 points to lead Juda (10-10).
