Waterford cruises past Elks

Southern Lakes Conference boys basketball champion Waterford was on cruise control Thursday night.


The Wolverines, behind 15 points from Tommy Vaccaro, outscored visiting Elkhorn in all four quarters en route to a 56-37 win.


Waterford (16-3, 12-0) led by eight at halftime.


Skylar O’Laughlin led the Elks (9-11, 5-7) with nine points.

Williams Bay (14-5, 10-1) had a 20-6 lead over the Pirates (5-14, 4-7)r after one quarter and never looked back.
