Nicole Skillman and Ashley Oldenburg each had a double-double to lead UW-Rock past host UW-Fox Valley, 53-45, in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night.

Skillman, a Janesville Craig High graduate, had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Oldenburg, a Orfordville Parkview graduate, had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Tiffany Draeving, an Orfordville Parkview High graduate, led the Rattlers (5-17) with 15 points.

“It’s been a while since we’ve won,” said UW-Rock coach Scott Lee. “Holding a high-powered offense like Fox Valley to under 50 points was the key. We also outrebounded them, 53-41.”

Both the UW-Rock men’s and women’s teams will conclude the regular season Saturday afternoon at UW-Marinette. The WCC Tournament begins Monday.
