Intoxicated driving arrests
-- SHANNON L. REIGHTLEY, 39, of 5041 S. County D, Afton, at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
-- KEVIN A. GRANT, 37, of 621 Prairie Ave., Janesville, at 1:13 a.m. Monday at Highway 14 east of Van Allen Road, La Prairie Township. Also ticketed for speeding.
-- A 17-YEAR-OLD MARSHALL MALE at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall High School, Marshall, on charges of engaging in repeated acts of sexual assault of the same child and sexual exploitation of a child. The Janesville Police Department made the arrest as part of a local investigation.
-- VIRGINIA MENDOZA, 40, of 1211 King St., No. 6, Janesville, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at home on a charge of intentionally causing bodily harm to a child.
-- COURT STREET AND SUNSET DRIVE, Janesville, at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday, a pickup truck driven by Bradley T. Inman, 56, of 7502 W. Stuart Road, Orfordville, collided in the intersection with an SUV driven by Gary D. Bjornstad, 54, of 2910 Macintosh Drive, Janesville. Bjornstad’s passenger, Paula K. Butler, 40, of 2910 Macintosh Drive, Janesville, was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.
-- MILTON AND BLAINE AVENUES, Janesville, at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, an SUV driven by Lacey L. Boesdorfer, 25, of 871 Blaine Ave., Janesville, collided in the intersection with a car driven by Donea L. Severa, 28, of 1306 N. Washington St., No. 3, Janesville. Severa’s passenger, Emily A. Severa, 4, of 1306 N. Washington St. Janesville, was taken to Mercy Hospital, but her condition was not released because she is a minor.
-- HIGHWAY 51 AND BELOIT-ROCK TOWNLINE ROAD, Rock Township, at 4:17 p.m. Monday, a car driven by Paul R. Young, 20, Rockton, Ill., collided in the intersection with a car driven by Carol D. Smout, 65, of 1508 La Salle Court, Janesville. Young was ticketed for making an illegal U-turn. Smout was treated and released from Mercy Hospital.
-- COUNTY G AND HIGHWAY 11, Rock Township, at 2:01 p.m. Sunday, a car driven by Connie K. Finn, 65, Beloit, collided with a minivan driven by Thomas L. Virgin, 41, Beloit. Finn was ticketed for following too close. Virgin’s passenger, Natalie A. Talley, 15, Beloit, was treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit.
-- HIGHWAY 59 AND WALLIN ROAD, Porter Township, at 9:39 a.m. Saturday, a minivan driven by Shannon M. Nelson, 35, Stoughton, collided in the intersection with a pickup truck driven by Patrick H. Leeder, 38, of 6537 N. Weary Road, Evansville. Nelson was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign and operating without a valid drivers license. Leeder and his passengers—Amanda J. Bjugstad, 35, of 54 N. Second St., Evansville; Darian J. Bjugstad, 15, of 54 N. Second St., Evansville; Dustin L. Bjugstad, 13, of 6623 N. Weary Road, Evansville, and Cody P. Leeder, 16, of 6537 N. Weary Road, Evansville—were transported to a local hospital. The Leeders were treated and released from Edgerton Hospital and Health Services. The Bjugstads’ conditions were unknown Wednesday.
-- ROBBERY reported at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday at a bus station in the 100 block of South River Street, Janesville. A 14-year-old boy was reportedly robbed of a gold chain valued at $80.
-- BURLGARY reported at midnight Monday to a home in the 10900 block of North Gladys Drive, Edgerton. Reported stolen were a necklace and knives.
-- BURGLARY reported at 8:07 p.m. Monday to a garage in the 1300 block of East Mallwood Drive, Edgerton. Reported stolen was a knife with a value of $180.
-- BURGLARY reported Feb. 2 to a home in the 1300 block of Lapham Street, Janesville. Reported stolen were jewelry and fishing equipment.
