Beloit Memorial High worked overtime to defeat Madison Memorial, 47-44, in Big Eight Conference girls basketball Friday.


The visiting Purple Knights (7-10, 5-8) gained a 9-6 advantage in the extra quarter to take the victory.


Taryn Olson scored 13 points to pace Memorial (4-10, 3-10). Beloit did not have a player in double figures.
