Lakeside’s early assault downs Cambridge

Lakeside Lutheran hit seven of its 10 three-pointers in the first quarter en route to a 84-63 nonconference Capitol Conference crossover game Thursday night over Cambridge at Lake Mills.


Lakeside scored 35 points in the first quarter to take a 19-point lead.


Jake Jarnigo had 14 points, Zak Gartner scored 13 and Sam Kuehl had 10 to lead the Warriors (12-4).


Shane Leadholm had 17 points, and Nic Bowe added 16 for the Blue Jays (5-10).
