Beaver Dam tops Rock County Fury in OT

Rock County coach Darrel Moore was unhappy with the way his girls hockey team played at Beaver Dam on Tuesday night.

In fact, he was surprised the Fury managed to get the game into overtime before falling, 4-3, at Beaver Dam.

“Our defense took chances,” Moore said. “The girls didn’t pass. We played selfish. We had players losing pucks in front of the net. We had no flow.”

Second-period goals by Haley Bayreuther and Robin Robles put the Fury up, 3-2.

Rock County (10-6-3) plays Hartland Arrowhead at

7 p.m. Saturday at Beloit.
