WCLO's Stan Stricker reports an area State Representative warns against business as usual in Madison

RSS

State Representative Steve Nass of Whitewater wonders if some legislators aren't getting the message.

He says voters made their intentions clear during the November elections, but worries some legislators are already talking up higher taxes and more spending. Nass says these proposals or trial balloons already exceed $1 billion.

"People clearly need to keep the pitchforks sharpened and handy as we near the new legislative session," Nass suggests.

Mr. Nass has no original ideas. He does little as a legislator and serves as an excellent puppet for his spokesperson/staffer Mr. Mikalson.

MR Nass has it right. The problem is that the Federal Government and a lot of State and local governments are so far in dept That they will never get it paid off. What I see comeing is a total collapse of the economy in the not to distant future. We all will have hell to pay when it happens
