Badger women drop 7th straight

The losing streak is now at seven for the University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team.


Tiffany Bias scored 14 points and Kendra Suttles added 10 as Oklahoma State defeated the Badgers, 50-42, on Sunday in the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge in Stillwater, Okla.


Wisconsin (2-7) trailed by only two at halftime but managed only 13 points in the second half.


No Badger player reached double figures in scoring as Lin Zastrow and Taylor Wurtz led the team with eight points each. Wurtz, a sophomore from Ripon, had a game-high 15 rebounds.


The two teams were a combined 10 of 50 on three-point shooting.


Oklahoma State improved to 8-0 with the win.
