Memorial nips Sun Prairie; Beloit, Middleton win

Junior Lomomba drove the lane and sank the winning shot with four seconds left Saturday night to lift Madison Memorial High School to 66-65 victory over visiting Sun Prairie in a key Big Eight boys basketball game.


Lomomba scored a game-high 23 points for the Spartans (3-0, 2-0).


Nick Fuller had 20 points and Chris Hawkins added 19 for Sun Prairie (2-1, 1-1).


Memorial was without three starters due to injury.

Nimrod Hilliard III scored a game-high 30 points for East.
