Memorial gains sweep against Verona, Craig
VERONA Janesville Craig High School lost to Madison Memorial and Verona in Big Eight Conference girls golf Monday at Tumbledown Trails in Verona.
Memorial posted a 384 to sweep Verona (470) and Craig (474).
Ashley Hermanns carded a 99 to lead the Cougars, who fell to 2-4 in the Big Eight. The Spartans’ Carly Dawson shot a 90 for medalist honors.
Craig faces Parker on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Riverside Golf Course.
