Tyler Patterson threw four touchdown passes to Ross Harmon to lead Sun Prairie High School’s football past host Beloit Memorial, 45-13, in a Big Eight Conference and season opener Friday night.


Harmon’s scoring receptions covered 23, 15, 38 and 35 yards. Patterson completed 14 of 21 passes for 247 yards. Mike Mwelwa added scoring runs of 3 and 1 yards and finished with 174 yards on 20 carries.


Kejuane Jennings led the Purple Knights with six receptions for 105 yards.

Joe Ferguson passed 20 yards to Jordan Fredrick with 5:43 left in the game for the only other touchdown. Sam Mirkin kicked a 27-yard field goal with 3:40 remaining.
