-- WILLARD AVENUE NORTH OF JOLIET STREET, Janesville, at 3:45 p.m. Friday. An SUV driven by Ricardo Rimeriz Cruz, 35, of 1748 S. Willard Ave., Janesville, was struck by a falling tree branch during a thunderstorm. The branch reportedly went through a window and struck the driver. Cruz was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.


-- HIGHWAY 11 AND JANESVILLE STREET, Footville, at 5:34 a.m. Wednesday. A pickup truck driven by Chad D. Lewis, 31, of 251 S. Gilbert St., Footville, went off the road. Lewis is accused of falling asleep while driving. He was ticketed for inattentive driving. Lewis was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.

-- BURGLARY reported at 11:06 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, to a home along Rotamer Road, Milton. Reported stolen were two diamond rings and a diamond tennis bracelet with a total value of $12,000.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- STACI L. ARNSMEIER, 40, Brodhead, at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, in the 1900 block of East 9th Avenue, Brodhead. It is listed as her second intoxicated driving arrest. She also was cited for unsafe lane deviation.
