Local realtors may become more involved in politics this election season.

Wisconsin Realtors Association President William Malkasian plans to encourage the Rock-Green Realtors Association to be politically active this fall. He plans to address the group in Janesville Wednesday morning. Malkasian says realtors, as a group, need to be ready with economic solutions for the new legislature. He also plans a bit of a pep talk, citing recent increases in sales numbers, and price stability.

His talk is planned for 9:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Convention Center.
