Rock County will play a role in a statewide health survey. UW Health begins conducting a survey in Janesville and the Town of Rock this week.
UW Health spokeswoman Mary Farrell-Stieve says residents were chosen at random. The goal of the "Survey of the Health of Wisconsin", or "SHOW", is to measure the current health status of state residents, and equip health professionals to development better health care initiatives.
"SHOW" is modeled after the CDC's National Health and Nutrition Examination survey.
