WCLO's Steve Benton reports on some changes coming to the Beloit Transit System

RSS

— Some changes are coming to the Beloit Transit System.

Transit Director, Michelle Gavin, calls the changes "minor", but they'll affect all riders. The biggest change is the interval between routes will increase from 30 minutes to 40 minutes. Gavin says this is to accommodate an increasing number of disabled riders. There will also be changes in the routes, most of which will be on the west side and in the area around Beloit Hospital.

Gavin says the changes will be posted on the city's website this week and new route maps will be available to the public next week. The changes become effective August 16th.
