WCLO's Steve Benton reports the high water level of the Rock River is once again causing problems for the Rock Aqua Jays

RSS

— Mother nature is once again affecting Janesville and the Rock Aqua Jays.

Rain Friday put the Rock River at flood stage at Afton and Rock Aqua Jays board president, Joel Shapiro had to give up hosting the Division 1 National Water Ski Show Tournament at Traxler Park next week.

Shapiro says in addition to the loss in revenue to local businesses and to the club, it's less likely Janesville will be chosen as a host site in the future. He says this is the second time in three years high water levels on the Rock River have affected their plans.
